Lu Horta voa sozinha e acompanhada<\/strong><\/p>\n

A cantora, compositora e percussionista corporal Lu Horta participou da forma\u00e7\u00e3o do grupo de percuss\u00e3o corporal Barbatuques<\/strong>, do qual ainda faz parte como integrante e preparadora vocal. Com eles, viaja pelo Brasil e pelo exterior fazendo shows em grandes festivais e ministrando oficinas de percuss\u00e3o vocal e corporal. Junto com o grupo tamb\u00e9m j\u00e1 lan\u00e7ou quatro CDs, O Corpo do Som (2002) e O Seguinte \u00e9 esse (2005), contemplado pelo Pr\u00eamio Tim de M\u00fasica em 2006, Tump\u00e1 (2012) e Ay\u00fa (2015); al\u00e9m do DVD Corpo do Som ao vivo (2007) e Tump\u00e1 ao vivo (2015). Com o Barbatuques participou de trilhas para cinema nos filmes “Tropa de Elite”, “Trash” e nas anima\u00e7\u00f5es “Rio 2” e “O Menino e o Mundo”, indicado ao Oscar em 2016 e onde teve a oportunidade de tamb\u00e9m representar uma das personagens.
\nEm paralelo, sabe estar quase sozinha no palco. Em 2003 lan\u00e7ou seu primeiro CD solo chamado apenas Lu Horta<\/strong>. No repert\u00f3rio, can\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00f3prias e in\u00e9ditas de Chico C\u00e9sar e Arnaldo Antunes. Em 2009 lan\u00e7ou o seu segundo \u00e1lbum,\u00a0Para\u00edso Eu<\/strong>, produzido por Bruno Bonaventure. Um CD que reflete sua maturidade como int\u00e9rprete e compositora, e tudo que viveu at\u00e9 aqui. As novas parcerias com compositores paulistanos dividem espa\u00e7o com visitas \u00e0s obras de Vitor Ramil, Leandro Bomfim, Luciano Pessoa e Arnaldo Antunes.
\nAgora, em 2013, prepara-se para o lan\u00e7amento do seu projeto mais recente, A Noiva da<\/strong> Cidade<\/strong>, mais uma parceria com o m\u00fasico e produtor Marcelo Effori. Desde 2012, vem amadurecendo este novo repert\u00f3rio com apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es ao vivo e tamb\u00e9m atrav\u00e9s de grava\u00e7\u00f5es em \u00e1udio e v\u00eddeo divulgados pela web. Em outubro de 2012 teve a oportunidade de mostrar o resultado dessa pesquisa numa turn\u00ea em Nova York e em 2013 foi selecionada para apresentar este projeto no SXSW, um dos maiores festivais de m\u00fasica independente do mundo.
\nCom uma atmosfera muito particular e melodias pop pontuadas por elementos eletr\u00f4nicos e boa poesia, a voz suave de Lu Horta nos convida a um passeio. Ningu\u00e9m recusa.<\/p>\n

Lu Horta flies solo and accompanied<\/strong><\/p>\n

The singer, composer and body percussionist Lu Horta was part of the creation of the body percussion group Barbatuques<\/strong>. She is also a performer in the group and she is responsible for the vocals. She travels with the group all over Brazil and all around the world performing and teaching vocal and body percussion workshops. She has also released three cds with the group, O Corpo do Som (2002) and O Seguinte e esse (2005), which received the \u201cPremio Tim de Musica\u201d prize in 2006. The group also released the live DVD Corpo do Som in 2007 and Tumpa, their third cd in 2012.
\nParallel to her work with Barbatuques, she knows how to shine on her own on stage. In 2003 she released her first solo CD called Lu Horta<\/strong>.\u00a0 The repertoire includes her own compositions and new pieces by Chico Cesar and Arnaldo Antunes.
\nParaiso Eu<\/strong>, the third CD was released in 2009. It reflects her maturity as a composer and as an interpreter. It is her most intimate work. In this CD Lu Horta revisits pieces by Arnaldo Antunes, Vitor Ramil, Leandro Bomfim, and Luciano Pessoa in addition to her new partnerships.
\nLu Horta Is now recording her latest work, A Noiva da Cidade<\/strong>. It\u2019s a multimedia music project that incorporates her research on eletronic and acoustic sound and it will be released on the web by July of 2013.\u00a0 This project has been developed with the musician and producer Marcelo Effori, with whom she has been preforming on stage in Brazil and in the US (they were in New York City in October of 2012). They were also selected to present this work in the most prestigious independent music festival in the US, the SXSW 2013.
\nLu Horta invites us on an adventure with her gentle voice, nice poetry and her unique pop melody. No one can resist it.<\/p>\n
